Anton Koschany (born August 16, 1953) is a Canadian television journalist. He is executive producer of CTV's news magazine W5 and the network's news elections unit,[1] and executive producer of CTV Elections, producing the federal election broadcast in 2011, 2015 and 2019, and provincial and local elections.[2]
In 2019 he produced The Laundromat, in which a whistleblower revealed the extent of dirty money in British Columbia's casinos and how that cash was tied to the drug trade. His 2005 investigation into a wrongful prosecution case, Phantom Menace, revealed how Canadian officials brought dubious charges to impress American security officials - which resulted in a reported $10-million settlement.[3][not in citation given]
Koschany was honored by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television with its Gordon Sinclair Award for 2020.[4]
