Career[edit]

In 2021 Anuj Gupta became the Managing Director of Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic[6][7][8]. His decisive leadership quality and deep industry experience across the entire value chain of the business of Hitachi India, are what qualifies him to be the MD of HSMC[7][8]. He was the CEO[9] of Hitachi, India from 2014 to 2020 and after the retirement of his predecessor, Tarun Seth[10][8], Anuj Gupta has been appointed as the MD of Hitachi, India[11].

Anuj has a proven track record of executive management and more than 20 years of experience in driving crucial sales growth in the technology industry[9]. Under his leadership, Hitachi India has adopted internal biometric, passwordless authentication by 1Kosmos BlockID[12]. The aim is to reduce the risk of data breaches before they roll it out to their customers in India[12]. Anuj Gupta also anticipates that the launch of 5G in India will bring mobility for the end-users, driving the growth further to network connectivity and IT infra support[13]. He led the Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2021 and shared his expertise on a critical overview of Cyber Security, the next-generation identity technology and data protection[14].

Earlier in 2020, Anuj Gupta as the CEO of HSMC played a key role as Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic joined the VMware Partner Connect Program to accelerate partner transformation and business growth[15]. He was also among the chief panellists of the four-day BFSI track of the Digital Technology Senate and shared his knowledge on how emerging technologies can help the BFSI sector lead the future[16]. As the CEO [6] of Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic in 2020, Anuj Gupta played a key role when the company became one of the key channel partners to Nutanix and worked in driving transformation to their customers amid the worldwide crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic[17]. He very rightly observed that a number of innovative technologies and techniques had emerged to support the fast-growing needs of enterprises and SMBs to transform the workplaces[18].
