Anund Sture, died 1360 or 1361, was a Swedish knight and councillor.

Anund Sture was one of King Birger's trusted men, and he seems to have already participated in the great Peace of Helsingborg [fr] in 1310, where a temporary reconciliation between King Birger and the dukes was achieved. He soon[when?] switched his loyalties to Erik Magnusson of Södermanland. By 1321 he belonged to Duchess Ingeborg's council as he was rewarded by her for services rendered that yeear.

Sture was knighted, probably on 21 June 1327, when Duchess Ingeborg married Knut Porse. Under Magnus Eriksson, he was one of the most respected and most trusted members of the Riksdag. He was royal governor in Scania in 1333 and Swedish representative at the conclusion of an armistice agreement with Lübeck in 1352.

Anund owned Rydboholm Castle around 1430 and is considered to be the builder of Östra Ryd's Church [sv].

Family[edit]

Sture was probably married to a sister of the knight Karl Näskonungsson.
