Anuradha Vikranth is a renowned Bharatanatyam danseuse from Bengaluru, India. She is known for her creativity, versatility, vibrancy and grace. Her boundless thirst for deeper knowledge in the field of Indian classical dance and deep commitment have strengthened her ingenuity to create a niche for herself as a fine dancer, an inspiring teacher, acreative choreographer and an able organizer.

She is the disciple of Guru Smt. Nirupama Rajendra and Guru Smt. Narmada in Bharatanatyam and the direct disciple of Guru Padma Bhushan Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, learning the "Karanas" and the elements of Natyasastra from the revered Guru.

Anuradha Vikranth is the founder and creative director of the dance institute 'Drishti Art Centre' located in the own premises at Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru.. She has been imparting training in Bharatanatyam to many aspiring students.

Anuradha, with the support and involvement of her husband T. M. Vikranth (Director, Drishti Media) has also established 'Drishti Art Foundation,' an organization incessantly working for the promotion and propagation of classical arts. DAF has been organizing 'Drishti National Dance Festival' every year since 2006 at Bengaluru. Artists from various parts of India are invited to perform in this prestigious annual event which has become one of the most popular and admired events in India.

Major Achievements[edit]

Anuradha Vikranth holds the Masters Degree in Bharatanatyam from the Sastra University, Tamil Nadu. She is an 'A' graded artist of Doordarshan.  She is the secretary of World Dance Alliance –Karnataka Chapter. She has given numerous performances on prestigious occasions at major cultural centres in India, USA, Canada, UK and UAE. Her performances have always enthralled art lovers, connoisseurs of dance and critics from India and abroad. Anuradha, has the credit of Choreographing 'Janapada Vaibhava' with 1100 folk artists for the historic Vishwa Kannada Sammelana Anuradha Vikranth is the founder and creative director of the dance institute ‘Drishti Art Centre’ located in the own premises at Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru, since 2001. She has been imparting training in Bharatanatyam to many aspiring students.

She has choreographed number of dance productions and presented through her dance institute “Drishti Art Centre”. She is also one of the very few dancers in Bharatanatyam to adopt ‘Chitra Nritya’ wherein she drew the picture of a ‘peacock’ with her feet during the course of dance in the  presentation entitled  “Mayura Sandesha.” Anuradha, with the support and involvement of her husband T. M. Vikranth (Director, Drishti Media) organise ‘Drishti National Dance Festival’ every year since 2005 at Bengaluru. Artists from various parts of India are invited to perform in this prestigious annual event which has become one of the most popular and admired events in India. Her performances have always enthralled art lovers, connoisseurs of dance and critics.

Anuradha was one of the master judges of the dance reality show “Takadhimitha” aired on Colours Kannada. Anuradha's recent TED talk on the topic “Dance and Mudita - The art of appreciation,” presented by MSRIT was very well received and appreciated for its contents and presentation.

Anuradha was invited to the United Kingdom to choreograph and direct, her dance production “Mahabharata - The essence of life”. The project was supported by the Arts Council England and Earthkala.
