Anwer Ali
Prince Anwer Ali was the son of Emperor Muhammad Shah. After Muhammad Shah was attacked and deposed by Ahmad Shah Abdali in 1748, young Prince Anwer Ali then about 17 and a half years old, escaped to his grand aunt Princess Jahanarra and hid in a place in Arrah, Bihar which was infested with bears. Later this place was named by him as Bhaluhipur.
He was married to a beautiful girl. His son’s name is Badar Ali (1770 - 1840).
Prince Anwer Ali remains buried in Bhaluhipur, Arrah, Bihar.
