Apeejay Stya University, is a private university located on Sohna-Palwal Road National Highway 919 (India), near Sohna, Gurugram district[4], Haryana, India. The university was established in 2010 by the Apeejay Stya Education Foundation[5] in the state of Haryana under Act No. 10 The Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2010.[6]
Background[edit]
The university was established by Dr. Stya Paul[7][8], founder of the Apeejay Education Society. It was given the autonomous status in 2010 under the Act No. 10 of Haryana Private Universities (Amendment Act 2010)[9]. Currently, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, the daughter of Dr. Stya Paul is the Chancellor[10] and Aditya Berlia, the grandson of Dr. Paul is the Pro–Chancellor.

Campus[edit]
The university has a lush green campus with hostels for both boys and girls. The entire campus is WI-FI enabled. There is a basketball ground, football ground, gymnasium, dance room and music room to be used by the hostelers as well as for day scholars.
