Apogee Electronics is an American manufacturer of digital audio interfaces and audio converters, USB & iOS microphones[2] as well as audio production software.
History[edit]
Apogee Electronics was founded in December 1985 by audio engineer Bruce Jackson[3], digital electronics designer Christof Heidelberger[4] and Soundcraft USA president Betty Bennett.[5] Apogee initially made its name[6] designing anti-aliasing filters that solved many of the early problems associated with digital audio.[7] The company moved to their new headquarter on Berkeley Street in Santa Monica in 2005[8]. Apogee is now a manufacturer of digital audio converters[9] and digital audio interfaces; dithering, limiting and filtering technologies; digital clocking technologies and all-in-one digital recording solutions[10].

Apogee Studio[edit]
Apogee Studio is a recording studio in Santa Monica located at the headquarter of Apogee Electronics and is owned by Apogee Electronics and legendary producer, mixer Bob Clearmountain[12], the husband of Apogee's CEO Betty Bennett[13].
KCRW hosts shows[14] in the venue, called KCRW Apogee Sessions[15].
