Appkut is an Indian online social media and social networking service Startup company. It is based in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. It was founded by Kazi Sikander [2]. Appkut doesn’t allow direct sign up. Community admin will have rights to invite members. Only invited members will have access to join and update in their community. It provides a platform for students to connect with their alumni and industry experts to gain domain knowledge, current industry trends, placements, and career acumen. Each Academic Institution can have their own Virtual Private Network by creating a Community and providing access by sending invites for their alumni, students, staff, industry, and parents via email. The main objective of this social Network is to bridge the gap between students, alumni, and industry[3]. To date, appkut operates on email validations only; they have not updated invitations to mobile numbers.
