Appkut is an Indian online social media and social networking service Startup company. It is based in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. It was founded by Kazi Sikander [2] Appkut doesn’t allow direct sign up. Community admin will have rights to invite members. Only invited members will have access to join and update in their community. It provides a platform for the students to connect with their alumni and industry experts to gain domain knowledge, current industry trends, placements and career acumen. Each Academic Institutions can have their own Virtual Private Network by creating a Community and provide access by sending invites for their alumni, students, staff, industry, and parents via email.The main objective of this social Network is to bridge the gap between students, alumni and industry[3]. Till date appkut operates on email validations only, they have not updated invitation to mobile numbers.
