Arabella Suttie (born 2003) is a British footballer who has played for Chelsea and Birmingham. She went to school in Southampton before she studied Chemistry at the University of Birmingham.

Life[edit]

Suttie is from Hampshire[1] and she was born in 2003. She played for the Warsash Wasps and then saw success again with Southampton Girls.[2] She became a student at King Edward VI School in Southampton where she studied Chemistry, Maths and Physics. Her ambition was to study Chemistry at University.[3] She was identified as a good prospect by Chelsea in 2016 and she joined their academy. She was based in Cobham and she played for Chelsea on two occasions.[2] She played as a defender[4], but left at the end of the season.[5]

For the 2021/22 season she signed for Birmingham[4] on the last day allowed in August 2021.[2] She would be playing for Birmingham while she studied Chemistry at Birmingham University.[1] She made her debut replacing Rebecca Holloway for the last four minutes of a match they lost to Spurs. She damaged her anterior cruciate ligament during training and this meant that she did not play for that season.[4] In April 2022 her new team played her old team but she was still unavailable to play.[6] She had reportedly recovered in March but she was in rehabilitation.[6]
