Arasiyalla Ithellam Saatharanamappaa (Tamil: அரசியல்ல இதேல்லாம் சாதரணமப்பா) is an Tamil soap opera that airs on Puthuyugam TV. It airs Monday through Friday at 10pm.
Plot[edit]
So far there has been no serial in Tamil based on the present day, power hungry politicians. This is a stinging political satire at the corruption, groupism, violence and family politics prevalent today. The existing chief minister decides to bring in his grandson studying abroad, as his political heir. Everything seems to be very peculiar to the youngster. Some politicians try to make him a puppet in their hands, while some other leaders plan to ouster him as a competitor. The story revolves around what the grandson decides under these circumstances. Apart from the political scenario, the serial also exposes the cheaters and manipulators in police, press and bureaucracy.
