Arben Morina
Arben Morina (born August 10, 1956 in Tirana) is an Albanian painter currently living in Italy. He is noted for his portraits, particularly of children. and his countryside landscapes. He paints in a style reminiscent of 16th-17th century Western art drawing on a balance between external appearance and spiritual reality, between physical reality and poetic vision in his artwork.[1]
Although Morina has worked in Western Europe and the United States, he is based in Florence where he is commissioned by wealthy aristocratic families but also sells his oil paintings and sketches to the public.
