From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

ArcLight Sherman Oaks is a cinema owned and operated by Decurion Corporation located in the Sherman Oaks Galleria.

History

ArcLight Sherman Oaks roots its origins in the Pacific Theatres Galleria Stadium 16, and on June 1, 2007, began its transformation into ArcLight Sherman Oaks. On August 6, 2007, the theatres were temporarily closed to begin construction on the new theater, and were re-opened on November 16, 2007. The Grand Opening event occurred on December 14, 2007, where the updates were showcased. These updates consisted of a coffee bar, retail shop, restaurant, and fully updated theaters, which included a sound system that exceeds THX standards, an updated cinematic experience, and wider, more comfortable seats and armrests. ArcLight also serves its own signature caramel corn, made on the premises.

Roger Daltrey of The Who participated in a question and answer session at the ArcLight Sherman Oaks on November 10, 2008, before a screening of At Kilburn 1977 + Live at the Coliseum in the vestibule and a side room for fans and critics.
