Ardeshir Pashang[1] (Persian: اردشیر پشنگ‎; born 22 December 1979) is a Kurdish-Iranian Researcher[2], Political Science, Journalism[3], TV Personality[4] and the managing director of the Faratab News Agency and Magazine[5]

Career[edit]

Born in 1979 in Kermanshah, Iran[6], he is a senior researcher on Middle East affairs and a specialist in Kurdish affairs[7]. He started working as a journalist for the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA)[8] in 2002. In his resume, he has collaborated with local[9] and national media[10][11] in Iran, as well as several reputable regional[12][13] and international media[14][15]. He has published several volumes of books, including "Kurds in the midst of the Iran-Iraq War"[16], "Farhang-e Rijal and Contemporary Iraqi Families"[17], etc.

Faratab Magazine[edit]

In June 2019, the first issue of Faratab monthly Magazine was published in three languages[18]: Kurdish, Persian and English[19]. This magazine is edited by Ardeshir Pashang and contains more than 200 writers from all over the world who deal with Middle East issues, especially the Kurds[20].
