Ardeshir Pashang (Persian: اردشیر پشنگ, born December 22, 1979) [1] is a Kurdish-Iranian Researcher, Politician and Senior Expert in the Middle East region and the Kurdish issue. [2] [3]
Early life and Career
Ardeshir Pashang was born in Kermanshah, Iran on December 22 1979, to Kurdish parents,[4] he is from a middle-class family with an Iranian and Kurdish identity. [5]
Pashang began his journalism career at a young age [6] with ISNA News Agency [7] [8] and then continued with domestic and foreign newspapers [9] [10] [11] such as Iran newspaper, Shargh,[12] Taadol,[13] Khabaronline, [14] Irna,[15] Sputnik [16], United World.[17] [18]
Faratab
In 2015, Pashang launched the independent media outlet "Faratab" [19] with an analytical approach to Middle East issues, Iran, and the Kurds, with which more than 400 writers, independent journalists, and international experts have collaborated so far, in 2016.[20] [21]
In 2019, Pashang published the first printed edition of Faratab, titled "Faratab Monthly," with a picture of Kurdish singer "Mazhar Khaleghi" on the first cover. professor Abbas Vali, Sadegh Zibakalam, Ghadir Nasri, Majid Saleh and Nader Entesar were among the analysts of the first issue. [22]
