Arenibek, Nauru
Arenibek is a community that resides in Nauru , around the Buada lagoon , itself located in the homonymous district and which forms a depression within the plateau. It is the only inhabited area in the country outside of the thin coastal strip that circles the island.
The population (estimated at 673 inhabitants in 2002 ) is distributed there along the road which surrounds the Buada lagoon, itself connected to the Island Ring Road , Nauru's main road. There is a Protestant temple there .
Arenibek is located north of Yaren , the capital.
