Arian Zandi Mas (born 16 April 1996) is a Spanish businessman and co-founder of Emerald Hospitality Group. He is the sibling of Alberto Zandi Mas.[1][2]

Early life and career

Arian was raised in Madrid, Spain, until the age of 16, where he then moved to London to attend The American International School in England to do the International Baccalaureate. From 2014 to 2019 he studied Business Management and Finance at Queen Mary University in London, and completed an MSc in Computer Science at Queen Mary University and a second MSc in Management and Digital Innovation at London School of Economics. Arian started his career at Business Integration Partners in strategy consulting. He worked on digital transformation programmes mainly for telecoms and financial institutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He then went on to co-found Emerald Hospitality Group, alongside his twin brother, Alberto Zandi Mas. They have been working alongside each other since they were 19 years old. Arian Zandi Mas's role is co-founder of Emerald Hospitality Group, which was founded in 2018 with a two-step strategy. During the pandemic, Arian opened two more restaurants: Como Garden, an Italian restaurant in winter 2020, and El Norte, a Spanish tapas restaurant in December 2021. Arian will be opening the hospitality group's fourth restaurant in January 2023 in Mayfair, a Southern French restaurant called Riviera. Arian also founded the innovative social media app, MyIns, in April 2022, after originally developing the idea in his master's degree in technology. The app is based on social privacy, allowing users to enjoy the functions of social media whilst allowing them to control who sees their content at all times.[3][4][5][6]
