Ariyo Kazaara Gracious (born August 14, 1978), is a Ugandan author and academic. He is the first and current University Secretary at the Metropolitan International University. He is considered as one of the pioneers of tertiary and higher education in Kisoro,[1] Western Uganda. In 2013, Gracious partnered with Kisoro District leaders embarked on a project to bring University education closer to the people of south-western Uganda.[2] This led to the creation of Metropolitan International University.

He was born in Rukiga District, Western Uganda, circa 1978. After attending local elementary schools, he was admitted to Kigezi College Butobere, where he completed his both O & A-Level studies. He was admitted to Kyambogo University, where he attained a Diploma in Education and later joined Makerere University. Gracious acquired his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Master of Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Makerere University. In 2018 he joined Texila American University, Guyana, S.A for his PhD in Management
