The freeway and expressway system[disputed ] is a system of existing or planned highways, freeways and expressways in the U.S. state of Arizona. It encompasses both state highways and Interstate Highways in Arizona. It is defined by Title 28 of the Arizona Revised Statutes,[1] which defines state routes and Interstates. The Maricopa Association of Governments in 2010 released a map for the future Interstate 11 corridor which included several freeways and loops throughout the state.[2][not in citation given]

List of roads in the system

The following is a list of highways, freeways, loops and other roads defined by the Arizona Department of Transportation. Some of the routes listed may still be in the planning stages.[3]
