World Champion Typist
Arjun Pundir (born on 29 September, 2000 in Rishikesh, India) is a World champion typist, holding two records: fastest time to type the alphabets (without spaces), and fastest time to type the alphabets (single hand). He can type all the letters sequentially in 1.99 seconds (without spaces), and 4.25 seconds (single handed). He was given a special invitation to witness the Republic Day parade from the Prime Minister’s Box.

Idea of typing
From the age of 9 years, Arjun started learning typing as suggested by his grandfather. After confirming about the Typing world record, he started practicing to break the World Record in typing. After practicing for 7 hours a day, he achieved this place in the field of typing. This record is a result of Arjun’s hard work and his family’s motivation towards his hard work.
Family background and education
Born in Rishikesh to Arvind Kumar and Seema Pundir, Arjun is from a well-to-do family. Mr. C.P.S. Pundir, the grandfather of Arjun, suggested him to learn typing. His family’s motivation and hard work brought him to this extent, allowing him to make this record. Arjun Pundir was a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Delhi Cantt.
Arjun’s world record history
Arjun was in 10th standard when he made the record for fastest time to type the alphabets (without spaces) and was in 11th standard when he made the record for fastest time to type the alphabets (single handed).
