Arjun Singh Panesar (born 1984) is an English computer programmer, entrepreneur, and author.[1][2]
Early life[edit]
Panesar attended Imperial College London from 2002 to 2006, studying for a Master of Engineering in Computing and Artificial Intelligence, graduating with first-class honours.[3]
Career[edit]
Panesar founded Diabetes.co.uk in 2003 when his grandfather was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and was unable to find information on how to control his condition.[4][5] His company DDM Health was established in 2012 and provides digital therepeutics to NHS and insurance partners.[3]
Panesar received the inaugural Imperial College London Alumni Leader Award in 2020 for his impact and contribution to society.[2]
Panesar has published two books, with his second Machine Learning and AI in Healthcare: Big data for improved health outcomes published in Spring 2021.[6]
