Arkadin Cloud Communications, an NTT Communications company, is a multinational cloud communications business headquartered in Paris, France.

History[edit]

Arkadin was founded in 2001 in Paris by Olivier de Puymorin. The company has acquired and merged with numerous subsidiaries such as ConferencePlus, Novasight, AccuConference and most recently Applicable. Today the company is led by CEO, Didier Jaubert.

In 2009, private equity firm AXA Private Equity, now Ardian (company) agreed to acquire a 45 per cent stake in Arkadin. At the time François Jerphagnon, managing director at AXA Private Equity, said: "The management team at Arkadin shares a common corporate culture with AXA Private Equity and we look forward to helping them take the business to the next level. The model set up by Olivier de Puymorin, based on strong values and shared by all Arkadin’s employees is testament to the company’s success in a rapidly expanding market.”[1] In 2013, NTT Communications acquired a maximum of 91.2% stake in Arkadin, buying out AXA Private Equity in the process.[2] Arkadin then became part of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, also known as the NTT Group.

In 2018, Arkadin announced a number of notable promotions: Mark Alexander to Chief Operating Officer, Scott McMaster to Managing Director and Florence Mas Pastor to Chief Legal Officer. Arkadin CEO Didier Jaubert said of the promotions “These executive promotions advance our vision for long-term cloud leadership,”.[3]

In February 2019, Vianney Motte was appointed as Chief Financial Officer. Motte has been at Arkadin for 10 years and is based in New York.[4]
