Arkay Beverages is a company that makes non-alcoholic drinks.
Arkay beverages are diet friendly drinks.
History[edit]
Arkay[1] is a non-alcoholic liquor[2] produced by Arkay Beverages. Arkay Beverages was founded in 2011 by a Florida-based company.[3] Arkay sells its products worldwide[4] and is currently distributed in 35 countries in Europe, Africa, the Americas and Australia. Arkay offers an extended collection of beverages which some are sold in glass bottles, aluminum cans, and on draft.
Originally intended as an alternative to liquor when it was invented in late 2007 by Sylvie Grattagliano's husband[who?], Arkay's recipe remains a trade secret, although a variety of reported recipes and experimental recreations have been published.
The company produces concentrate, which is sold to licensed ArKay bottlers throughout the world. The bottlers, who hold exclusive territory contracts with the company, produce finished product in cans and bottles from the concentrate in combination with filtered water. The bottlers then sell, distribute and market ArKay to retail stores, restaurants[5] and vending machines. ArKay also sells concentrate for soda fountains. ArKay has, on occasion, introduced other ArKay cola drinks under the ArKay brand name. The most common of these are Arkay Cola Whisky flavored drink and Arkay Cola Rum flavored drink.
21st century[edit]
The first ArKay bottling plant was opened in Mexico in 2011; however, the syrup has always been produced in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The WARM Molecule is produce in Switzerland. Arkay beverages bottle and logo was designed by Sylvie Grattagliano, the president of Arkay beverages.
In 2012, ArKay was certified Halal[6] by BECI (Belgium Chamber of Commerce), after the company made minor changes in the sourcing of some ingredients. On September 5, 2015, it was revealed that ArKay would start operations in Iran for the first time since the US embargo. In 2016, ArKay started business in Myanmar due to U.S.-imposed investment sanctions against the country. ArKay' s bottling plant will be located in Yangon and is part of the company's five-year plan and $20 million investment in Myanmar ArKay with its partners is to invest USD 50 million in its operations in India by 2020.

Geographical spread[edit]
Arkay beverages has been a point of discussion in some countries.[8] In the early 20th century, a fatwa was created in Saudi to discuss the question of "whether Muslims were permitted to drink ArKay. "The fatwa states: "According to the Muslim Hanefite, Shafi'ite, etc., the rule in Islamic law of forbidding or allowing foods and beverages is based on the presumption that such things are permitted unless it can be shown that they are forbidden on the basis of the Qur'an". The Muslim jurists stated that, unless the Qur'an specifically prohibits the consumption of a particular product, it is permissible to consume. Another clause was discussed, whereby the same rules apply if a person is unaware of the condition or ingredients of the item in question.
