Arkoja Acharya is an Indian television actress who works primarily in Bengali-language serials. She gained recognition for her lead role as Nirupama in the Star Jalsha romantic drama series Ogo Nirupoma (2020–2021) alongside Gourab Roy Choudhury.[1]
Early life and career
Arkoja Acharya started her acting career in television. In October 2020, she rose to prominence when she was cast as the female lead, Nirupama Roychowdhury, in the Acropoliis Entertainment production Ogo Nirupoma broadcast on Star Jalsha.[2] Following the conclusion of the series, she has appeared in other television projects including the Aakash Aath series Kori Diye Kinlam[3][4] under the Sahityer Sera Somoy strand, and later joined the Zee Bangla series Anandi. Aside from acting, she has also explored creative writing and scriptwriting for film projects.[5]
