Arman Ali (Hindi: अरमान अली; Urdu: أمان علی) born on 08 August 1997 is an Indian Singer, Songwriter who started his career in Music Industry as a Composer & Lyricist with his beautifully penned song Bewajah for the Bollywood film titled Dhara 302. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] Singing his way through the hearts of peoples Ali is here to stay. He began his singing career way back in college with his self formed band called ASH:The Band. During an interview Ali stated that he is a huge admirer of Country, Pop and Indian Classical Music. With the release of his single Bewajah, Ali proved that he is more than just a pretty face. [7]
Early Life[edit]
Arman was born into a Muslim family in Ranchi, Jharkhand India. In terms of music, he had born in an underprivileged family. None of his family member had any relation with music. At the age of 14, Ali started participating in Local and other Inter-State level talent Hunt shows such as Voice Of Jharkhand-Season 1, Future Star 2009 etc. After completing his Higher Secondary he started learning Guitar and started composing songs during his early college days in Ranchi.[8]
Education[edit]
He went to St. Paul's High School, in Ranchi and completed his Matriculation from the State Board of Jharkhand. Later, he continued his further education from Ranchi University. In March 2013, Ali moved to Mumbai and completed his Bachelors degree with Bachelors In Arts from Mumbai University.
Ash:The Band[edit]
During Ali's early days at College in Ranchi, he founded the band with some of local guys from the city while pursuing his Higher Secondary education at the Marwari College, Ranchi back in the year 2011.
Formation (2010–2011)[edit]
Ali formed the band ASH, which was spurred on by his colleagues and other common friends from Ranchi. During his college days, he also started participating actively in all the Inter-College cultural programs and this developed a habit for him to consider music as a career (as stated in a recent interview by HT Times, Ranchi.)

Disintegration (2013-14)[edit]
It was June 2013, When Ash's lead guitarist Anurag left the band for pursuing his further studies. This was the time when their band got split up, yet Ali didn't lose his hope and continued with his music and focused on writing his originals.
Bollywood Debut[edit]
Ali made his Bollywood debut as a guest composer and lyricist for the film Dhara 302 released under the banner of Zee Music on 26th February 2016. Dhara 302 is a Bollywood Hindi film which is written & directed by Jitendra Singh Naruka and produced by Bhawani Shankar Yogi of Sakshi Entertainments. Its Screenplay and Dialogues were also written by Jitendra Singh Naruka & Production Manager for the film is Karan Kamboj & casting Director is Rupesh Patel. [9] [10] [11] [12]
Music Albums[edit]
After a very overwhelming response for the song Bewajah from the film Dhara 302, [13] [14] [15] Ali decided to record his 1st ever single titled Suna Jahan written & composed by himself. The album's pre production works are still going on and should be released soon ( Ali, mentioned in an Interview with the Pioneer, Ranchi).
Awards & Recognition[edit]
Arman's musical journey which he started from his hometown Ranchi to the City Of Dreams, Mumbai took another turn when he got a chance to work in a Bollywood film Dhara 302. His written and composed song titled Bewajah from the film touched a new height as it was viewed by 4.8 million [16] people within first few days of its release. Apart from this people also downloaded the audio tracks of the song crossed more than 12.5 thousand from different sources of the Internet.
In 2016, Ali was nominated for the Best Male Singer category [17] for the very first Jharkhand International Film Academy (JIFA) in Ranchi, Jharkhand. JIFA organized by Nikhil Rana and team. [18] JIFA is an International platform which supports people from every field E.g. Entertainment, Arts, Real-Estate, Entrepreneurship etc. During a web-conference JIFA's chairman Nikhil mentioned - that there are few artist from Jharkhand were always ignored and never appreciated, but now JIFA is trying to undo this wrong.
