Armour X
Armour X is a Malaysian superhero. It was released direct to video in late 2005. With a limited budget and promotion, the superhero was owned by few enthusiasts. Since the VCD was only sold in four different locations upon release, it is not easy to gather a complete set, and to add salt to the wound, the DTV was not available at many video retail chains or stores. Plus, there is no full upload of the superhero on youtube, the local cable tv provider, or free to air tv; none of them aired the superhero to a wider audience, making it seem impossible to trace if somebody ever possessed the whole VCD collection.

Summary
In the future, a government-based special force named Cyber Swat is facing a terrorist group led by Fernandez Carlos, and they were defeated when the enemy found a way to penetrate their protective armour.[1] With the use of advanced technology, the scientists managed to create a special battle suit named "Armour X".[2]
With the help of the latest technology, the Cyber Swat crew were equipped with protective helmets, body gear, MTU belts, handguns, and machine guns. They only needed to stand on a platform called MTU – Molecular Transport Unit – and wait to be teleported to a selected destination to combat terrorists. But a nutty Professor Shaff, who now worked with Carlos, finally succeeded in hijacking the team command control centre and later caused havoc by teleporting them to the wrong place. Led by Max and Isa, two top Cyber Swat crime fighters, they were captured by Carlos’s gang. Carlos offered them a peace treaty by inviting them to join him, but both declined. Isa sacrificed himself by transporting Max back to the command centre using his activated MTU belt. Injured, Isa was taken away by Professor Shaff, who intended to brainwash him and give him a new identity.
Originality
Unlike other heroes that draw inspiration from American superheroes or Japanese superhero, Armour X is more of a metal hero with special abilities. By creating a supersoldier with no superpower who previously worked as a combat team with handguns, machine guns, and the ability to use telekinesis via the MTU belt, it is similar to Judge Dredd. On the cover of the VCD release, it is also written “Telemovie "Sains Fiksyen" Pertama di Malaysia” (First ever Sci Fi Telemovie in Malaysia).[3]

The superhero was released in English, though sometimes they mixed it up with speaking bahasa Malaysia. The notable cast in the series includes Ezany Nizariff, Isma Daniel, and Sean Boys R us.
