Family and Childhood

Arnab Sao was born on 18 March 1995 in Howrah, West Bengal, India to Shri Naba Kumar Sao and Smt. Malati Sao.

Education

Arnab Sao attended Vivekananda Institution for schooling.[1] He graduated from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mining Engineering.[2] He attended the Gandhi Fellowship on educational leadership.[3]

Career

Indian Administrative Service

Arnab Sao secured the All India Rank in UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2021. The UPSC CSE is one of toughest and the second oldest competitive examination of India, conducted nationwide by the Union Public Service Commission for recruiting bureaucrats and civil servants at various posts in Government of India.

Indian Territorial Army

Arnab Sao joined Indian Territorial Army as a Lieutenant in 113 Infantry Battalion Rajput Regiment.
