Arnav Bhasin is an Indian actor who works in Hindi streaming television. He has appeared in Netflix productions including the war drama series Operation Safed Sagar (2026), as Flying Officer Amit "Goofy" Gupta, and the courtroom comedy-drama Maamla Legal Hai. Bhasin is also known for his earlier roles, notably as Kalpesh Bhatia in TVF's workplace drama Cubicles, Rabbi in The Insiders (2019), and Jounty in the miniseries Cabin Fever (2020).
Career
Bhasin started his career as a teenager, appearing in YouTube sketches before landing a cameo role in the TVF series TVF Pitchers (2015). [1]
In 2019 he starred in his first lead role in the TVF comedy series The Insiders (2019) starring as Rabbi, an honorary member of the secret club, 'Insiders'. [2]
He later portrayed the recurring character of Kalpesh Bhatia in TVF's workplace drama series Cubicles (2019), playing the room-mate and colleague of the protagonist Piyush Prajapati. Reviewing the first season for Binged, a critic remarked that Bhasin was "spot on with careless, nonchalant attitude" and succeeded in leaving a "memorable impression" despite limited screen time. [3] By the third season on SonyLIV, his character had evolved into a senior role; a critic at Outlook India described his portrayal as the "voice of reason" in contrast to the emotion-driven protagonist, praising the "quiet confidence in his body language" that effectively conveyed a pragmatic corporate authority. [4]
During the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020, Bhasin starred as the lead character 'Jounty' in the romantic comedy drama mini-series Cabin Fever (2020), created by Pranav Bhasin and music producer Ritviz.[5] Writing for Film Companion, film critic Rahul Desai praised his performance, highlighting his execution of contemporary relationship dynamics during the lockdown.[6]
In 2026, he appeared in the Netflix war drama series Operation Safed Sagar as Flying Officer Amit "Goofy" Gupta, one of the young officers of the Golden Arrows squadron.[7][8] That same year, he had a guest appearance as Nihal in the second season of the courtroom comedy-drama Maamla Legal Hai. [9]
