Ars Nova School of the Arts
Ars Nova School of the Arts is a conservatory located in Huntsville, Alabama providing education in fine arts, particularly music and theatre, to students of all ages. The school is operated under a non-profit corporation also bearing the name Ars Nova. Ars Nova, Inc. also produces musical theatre and opera for the local stage to give students of the school performance opportunities.
The school was founded in September 1998 by Ginger Beazley and several other local music teachers who decided to form a conservatory. The school was established with 25 students and has grown today to approximately 140 students.[1]
Susanna Phillips and Angela Brown are the best known of Ars Nova's alumni.
