Artemus Ogletree (est. 1900 – January 5, 1935) was an American man best known as the victim in the infamous Room 1046 Murder. Going by “Roland T. Owen”, he checked to room 1046 of the Hotel President in Kansas City on January 2nd, 1935, where he was found naked, two inches away from the door, crouched on the floor, and holding his bloody head in his hands. Still alive, however.
