The Arthur Sollee bridge is a two-span bridge that spans the Intracoastal Waterway. It carries Florida State Road 202 (SR 202), and connects the North Florida barrier island to mainland Jacksonville. It is known as the "Whubba Whubba" bridge, because of a defect in construction that makes an amusing bouncy ride on the eastbound side of the roadway. When it was built in 1979, it only had one span. The second span of the bridge was built in 1988.[1][not in citation given]
