Arthur Swersey

Arthur Jay Swersey is a professor of Operations Research at the Yale School of Management.[1] He did his undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and earned a masters degree and a doctorate from Columbia University.[2]

He is coauthor with Johannes Ledolter of the book Testing 1-2-3: Experimental Design with Applications in Marketing and Service Operations (Stanford University Press, 2007).[3] At the time of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, Swersey was in Tokyo with 19 students. A spokeswoman for Yale said they were safe in their hotel room.[4]
