Article is a privately-held, Canada-based, E-commerce company that sells furniture online. Article works with high-end[buzzword] furniture designers and foreign manufacturers to offer over 400 home furnishing items including sofas, chairs and tables.[1][2]

Article was founded in 2011 by Aamir Baig, Andy Prochazka, Sam Prochazka and Fraser Hall[3] to eliminate supply chain inefficiencies in the designer furniture industry. The company became "Article" after changing its name from "Bryght" in early 2016.[4][5] Article is founder-funded, having raised $4.8M in four rounds, and has grown mostly on retained earnings.[6] Founder Fraser Hall's venture capital fund, Vancouver Founder Fund (VFF), participated in the most recent round of funding.
In March, 2017, Article announced it had a revenue run rate of $90M USD, growing 600% in 2016.[7][8] 85% of Article's customers are in the USA.

Article sells designer mid-century modern furniture. Categories include sofas, chairs, tables, bedroom, storage, rugs and decor accessories. Article launched a patio furniture collection in March, 2017. [9]
