Artiswitch (Japanese: アーティスウィッチ, Hepburn: Ātisūwitchi) is a short Japanese original net animation (ONA) series produced by Sunrise in collaboration with Japanese talent agency AsobiSystem. The series highlights Harajuku's fashion, art, music and different creators and artists who are active in these fields. It was released from May to September 2021 on YouTube.[1]

Production and release[edit]

On May 14, 2021, Sunrise and AsobiSystem announced that their Artiswitch project is getting an original net animation (ONA) series produced by the two companies. It is directed by Kazuma Ikeda, with series composition and screenplay written by Erika Yoshida, original character designs drawn by Hiromi Matsuo, and clothing design by Miki Aizawa. Rasmus Faber composed the music, with Akiko Fujita serving as the sound director and Motoko Marui serving as the art director.[2] It was released on Artiswitch's official YouTube channel from May 28, 2021 to September 10, 2021.[3]

The series' theme song is "Tobu, Saihate." by yonkey featuring Kana Adachi. Each episode features a different insert song performed by musicians who have collaborated on the series.[4][5]
