Arunansh Shokeen (born 25 February 1992) is a founder of Natya Ustaad, Delhi-based theatre group[1]. He is an Indian actor [2], director [3], producer [4], acting coach [5], voice over artist and motivational speaker [6][7]. He has directed and acted in more than 50 short films, street plays and stage plays like Bharat ki Pehchaan, Tranziztor Untuned [8], Tribute to Andaaz Apna Apna [9] etc.
Early life and education[edit]
Arunansh attended Shah International School, Delhi and earned a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (2010-2013). He then pursued Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from GGSIPU.
Career[edit]
He discovered his interest in theatre at very young age and started providing acting classes since he was in school. Soon after joining the college, he initiated a theater society at his college called Shaurya Dramatic Society [10]. Since then he has acted and directed several street and stage plays. He founded Natya Ustaad[11], a Delhi-based theatre and cultural active group on 2010.
He was last seen in Rangrez- [12] a music video based on the life of an artist. He has produced Tribute to Andaaz Apna Apna- [13] [14] [15] a classic movie starring Salman Khan and Aamir Khan turned into a stage play and directed various street plays invluding Tranziztor Untuned- [16] a play on partition and Hota Rehta Hai- [17] a play to generate awareness on child sexual abuse.
He has also worked in various YouTube videos including The Clown [18] and Naagrik [19]. He has provided acting and personal skills development classes to more than 50,000 students(as on 2019).
