As Time Goes By is a Canadian music variety television series which aired on CBC Television in 1967.[1]
Premise[edit]
This Vancouver-produced series hosted by Tony Thomas[1] featured live performances of pop standards, primarily in genres such as Tin Pan Alley and Broadway musicals. Martin Slavin conducted the programme's orchestra[1] and also performed with Bud Henderson on twin pianos. Visiting artists included Eleanor Collins, Lorraine Foreman (a singer who was married to Thomas), Allan Haythorne, David Kendall, Lorraine McAllister, Miles Ramsay and Pat Rose.[2]

The half-hour series aired on Sundays at 2:30 p.m. (Eastern) from 28 May to 30 July 1967.
