Erin Clachers (born 20 June 1999) is a Scottish football goalkeeper who plays for Glasgow City in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL).
Early life[edit]
Clachers played for youth club Lomond Colts Girls in 2012 and helped the team win the 2012 Fife/Perthshire League title.[1][2] Earlier in the season, she scored a goal from the goalkeeper position.[3][4]
Playing for the Glasgow City youth academy at age 14, Clachers helped the club to the under-15 SWF Girls Scottish Cup Final where they were defeated by Celtic FC 2–0.[5][6]
Club career[edit]
At Glasgow City, Clachers was promoted to the first team in January 2016 at the age of 16.[7] She made her first start for the club during a match against Glasgow Girls F.C. in March of the same year. Glasgow City won 10–0 and advanced to the semi-finals of the SWPL League Cup.[8]
International career[edit]
Clachers has represented Scotland at the under-16[9], under-17[10] and under-19 levels. In 2016, she represented Scotland at the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship.
