Game Structure[edit]

It is set in a Norse Mythology backdrop, where the player takes on the role of a fledging God. Early on they meet Loki, who becomes the player's mentor and guides them through their quest.

The game has an emphasis on melee combat, questing, puzzle solving, material gathering, and crafting. One of its main unique features is that the player switches from God scale to mortal scale at will, interacting with the world in different ways depending on their chosen form.

The game also features a large amount of optional content in the form of dungeons and sidequests. It has an emphasis on backtracking and exploration.

[3] Over at IGN, Gabriel Moss praised the game on numerous aspects, including having one of the friendliest interfaces in VR game, and the first absolute must-play virtual reality game that feels fully fleshed-out rather than a glorified tech demo. [4] He also says that it is the best game he have ever played[5], and that it is better than Astrobot, Skyrim VR, Beat Saber, Lone Echo, Moss, Rec Room, Tetris Effect, SUPERHOT VR, Windlands 1 and 2, and No Man's Sky.[6]
