Beckham is a lesbian activist and an LGBTQ rights advocate[2], born in Sylvania, Ohio. She completed her graduation in 1991 from Sylvania Northview High.[3]

Career[edit]

She works as a waitress in a cafe in Boulder.[3]

Achievements[edit]

She delivered a speech in TEDxBoulder in 2013.[4][5] Her video “Coming Out of the Closet”[6][7][8] went viral with over 3 million views[9][10]. She was called to deliver a speech in Ignite Boulder 20, a volunteer run, geek event.[11]
