Ashish Verma is an Indian film actor and a writer.[1]. A graduate from the Film and Television Institute of India (Pune), he is notably known for his performance in the films Bhavesh Joshi Superhero[2] and Gurgaon[3] which was well received by the critics. He has also starred in the film Sui Dhaaga in a supporting role.

Apart from acting in films he is also popularly known for essaying the role of Madhav in the TVF web-show, InMates.

On television, Ashish Verma has been seen in many commercials for brands such as Samsung, Vodafone, Starsports, KFC, etc.

Career[edit]

Ashish Verma was born and brought up in Delhi. A graduate in economics from Kirori Mal College, his early foundation of acting was laid at his college dramatic society, The Players. He went on to pursue a diplomma in acting at the Flim and Television Institute of India, Pune.

He worked as an assistant director in films like Anhey Ghorhey Da Daan and Chauthi Koot before making a mark as an actor in the critically acclaimed film Gurgaon, in 2017.

Later in 2018, he acted in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero where his performance received extremely positive reviews[4][5]
