Ashley Strohmier is an overnight anchor and news correspondent for FOX News Channel (FNC). She is a frequent guest host of Fox & Friends First and delivers breaking news for Fox News Live.[1]
Biography[edit]
A graduate of Helias Catholic High School,[2] Strohmier studied criminal justice at University of Central Missouri, she was crowned Miss Missouri USA also winning the swimsuit competition and Miss Photogenic, in 2010, finishing in the top 10 nationally.[2][3][4] Prior to working at KMIZ-TV from 2013 until joining Fox in March 2020, Strohmier was a hostess for FOX 22, where she was a live news event broadcaster. At KMIZ, she was recognized by the Kansas City Press Club for her in-depth reporting on the state's Department of Social Services, which resulted in an investigation by lawmakers after she was awarded.[5] She was also honored by the Missouri Broadcasters Association with the Best News Anchor award in 2019.[6] Strohmier produced and anchored News This Morning.[1]
