Background[edit]

Nallawalla was born in Mumbai, India in 1952. He attended Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics at the University of Mumbai before emigrating to New Zealand. After migrating to Australia, he served as an officer in the Royal Australian Air Force and thereafter, in various public and private companies.

Nallawalla's contributions have been published in a number of newspapers and magazines relating to amateur radio, computing and search marketing. He had a regular column in APC Magazine[7] and The Age.

Volunteer Work[edit]

Nallawalla edited PC Update, the journal of the Melbourne PC User Group[8], which has been the largest computer club in the world for many years. He founded an award-winning, volunteer-run internet service for the Melbourne PC User Group and helped to operate it for some years.

Awards[edit]

Nallawalla was awarded an Honorary Life Membership of the Melbourne PC User Group for his voluntary services to the group in many capacities, notably for editing the magazine and for starting its internet service for members.
