Ashton Fletcher Irwin (born 7 July 1994) is an Australian drummer, singer and songwriter. He made his debut as the new drummer in 5 Seconds of Summer on YouTube in December 2011, in the band’s cover of “Teenage Dirtbag" by Wheatus.
Prior to joining 5 Seconds of Summer in December 2011, as a young teenager Irwin was a part of a two piece band called Swallow The Goldfish.
