Askaboutmoney is an Internet forum for consumers in Ireland.
As of July 2022,[update] the site had about 170,000 threads and 1.5 million posts.[1] The site was founded in 1999 by Brendan Burgess and is funded by him and by donations from members. It does not contain any advertising or sponsorship.[2][3]
The forums cover financial topics of interest to Irish consumers and residents, including banking, tax, mortgages, savings, investments, and utilities. The site is moderated by volunteers.[4]
