Assetou Traoré (born February 27, 1995, in Bamako) is a forward basketball player who is playing for Mali women's national basketball team and Cavigal Nice in France- LF2(W).[1]
Career history[edit]
Assetou Traore play for C'Chartres's during the 2019-2020 LF2 league where she set her career high in rebounds in a Fance-LF2(W) game on 13 December 2019. On 3 February 2024, she tied her career high in points in a France-LF2(W) game after was transferred to Cavigal Nice in their road loss against L.T. Meylan, 78–76.[2][3] In her basketball career she have faced 235 opponents.[4]
Mali national team[edit]
She first represented Mali youth national team in 2015 during U20 European championship women-Division A and was called to the senior national team in 2023 during FIBA women's Afrobasket 2023.[5]
