Jacquil Taylor
Jacquil Taylor is an American basketball player who currently plays forward for the Purdue University Boilermakers.[1] He is the 11th player on the team. The athlete committed to joining the Boilermakers in late 2013, stating that he appreciated Purdue's basketball team and academic program. [2]According to Nathan Baird, a sports reporter for the Indy Star, Taylor is a good defensive player and intends to develop a strong defensive game.[3] Before being recruited by Purdue for his athletic ability, Taylor attended Cambridge University in Massachusetts.[4] In 2015, after six games as a Purdue athlete, Taylor was granted a medical waiver due to leg injuries,[5] which ended his rookie season. While frustrated by the injury, Taylor plans to resume playing basketball for Purdue upon recovery.[6] According to Purdue's basketball coach, Painter, his offensive ability is "a little better than you might have thought."
