Astana IT University (AITU) is an autonomous research university in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. Founded as a result of the initiative of the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev in 2019, it is an English-medium institution, with an international faculty and staff.
Astana IT University aims to become the leading centre of competencies for digital transformation in Central Asia, the aim of which is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of a digital economy based on interdisciplinary technologies and ensure digital transformation through training, research and innovation.[1]
