Astero (music project)
Astero is a project of two talented musicians/sound-producers, Alex and Evan, founded in Saint-Petersburg in 2008. Artists combine DJ-sets and live instrumental show. They are known for their own solo tracks and remixes..[1]
Astero works with such famous artists like Баста, IOWA, Руки Вверх, Юлианна Караулова, Alekseev, Марсель, Kadebostany.[1]
Astero also have their own weekly radioshow «Mastereo» broadcasted on the biggest russian dance radio station DFM which covers over 100 towns, including 13 millionaire cities.[1]
Astero have become famous after their remixes for «Dream On» by Depeche Mode and N.O.H.A. by «Tu Cafe».
After the beginning of collaboration with «Студия Союз» music label in 2015[2], they released a hit-remix for a song by swiss band Kadebostany - «Teddy Bear». This fact has highly increased the popularity of Astero and Kadebostany in Russia, promoting them to get the first positions in different charts on the main russian radio stations.[3]
Next remix by Astero, which has entered most of the charts on the dance stations in Russia and CIS countries, was the remix for Raving George and Oscar & The Wolf - «You're Mine», produced together with DJ Antonio.[4]
By the middle of 2017 there were already 2 million Shazams of 2 these tracks.
The next step in the career of the musicians was the release of their own solo tracks «Satellite» (feat. Tiana)[5] and «Blame»[6]. The last one was recorded in collaboration with a producer/vocalist Matvey Emerson and in a short period of time «Blame» appeared on the biggest radio stations in Russia, including radio «Europa Plus»[7]
