Astral Chain[lower-alpha 1] is an upcoming action video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch. It is directed by Takahisa Taura, who was previously lead game designer for Nier: Automata under supervision by Bayonetta series creator Hideki Kamiya. The game features character designs from artist Masakazu Katsura.[1]
Astral Chain was announced in a Nintendo Direct presentation on February 13, 2019, and is scheduled for release on August 30, 2019.[2]
