At the Beginning is a 2000 artwork by Italian artist Massimo Taccon. The painting was created by Taccon during his performance at the Langkawi International Festival of Arts 2000.[1]

The artwork is a typical Taccon's work with masses of color and vertical and horizontal lines on cut and stitched canvas with overlay of a geometric structure of jute threads (pittostruttura, painting and sculpture). [2][1]
