Ata Jahangir Moshayedi

Ata Jahangir Moshayedi (born 27 December 1980) is an Iranian electrical engineer and academic. He is currently serving as a Prof Associate at the School of Information Engineering, Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, China. His current project involves service robot design and development.
Biography[edit]
Moshayedi pursued his Ph.D. in Electronic Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India, completing it in March 2015. His dissertation focused on the design and development of an odor localization system for gas leakage detection. He earned his Master of Science in Instrumentation from the same university in July 2009, with a thesis on Ethernet solutions for low-cost web-based SCADA system integrators to EMS (Electrical Management System).
He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Power Electrical Engineering from Azad University of Khomeini Shahr, Isfahan, Iran, in June 2004, where his thesis on fuzzy PI controller for DC motor (intelligent DC drive) received high acclaim.[citation needed]
Moshayedi's academic interests revolve around robotics and automation, sensor modeling, bio-inspired robots, machine vision, artificial intelligence, intelligent buildings, soft computing, cognitive science, neural networks, fuzzy logic, and power electronics. He also has supervised numerous thesis projects at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Honors and awards[edit]
Moshayedi has received the 2021 China College Students Computer Design Competition National Third Prize, the 2021 National Festival of Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Second Prize in Central China Area, and the 2019–2020 China College Students Service Outsourcing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Second Prize in Central China, among others.

Moshayedi has been a keynote speaker at various international conferences and workshops, where he has shared his expertise on topics such as gas sensor modeling, plume tracking missions, and the application of electronic noses in agriculture.
