Ateet is a 2020 Hindi-lanuage film starring Priyamani which streams on ZEE5. A soldier lost in war and pronounced dead returns after a decade to his wife and daughter, only to realize that they have moved on. As he forces his way into their life, questions are asked whether he is dead or alive.[1]
Plot
The story is about Captain Ateet Rana[2] who was declared killed in action, Vishwa Karma his senior decides to take care of his wife Janvi and daughter Sana. After 10 years of hiding details about Ateet from Sana, in a twist of fate Ateet Rana returns and wants his family back and is ready to expose a dark truth about his senior Vishwa Karma [3]

Development
On May 1, 2020, ZEE5 announced that Tanuj Bhramar is set to be the director alongside Anil Somani, Pramod Goyal, Anup Todi & Ashish Wagh who will produce the film.[5] The film is produced by companies Funtime Entertainment & Indian Film Studios [6]
Release
ZEE5 released the official trailer for the show on 19 April 2020 and it premiered on 21 April 2020.[7]
Reception
Misty suspense-horror goes up in smoke.[8] R.M. VIJAYAKAR from IndiaWest said "Silly Plot and Sillier Execution".[9] Vishal Verma from glamslam said "A well performed catnap" [10]

The soundtrack is produced by Harish Sagane.[11]
